Vietnam - Australia to promote cooperation potential

On April 19, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People`s Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan received the Western Australian Senate delegation led by President Barry House on the occasion of visiting and working in Hanoi.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Council introduced the achievements in socio-economic development of the Capital, at the mean time affirming the contributions that support good cooperation including the international community, especially from Australia. Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan expects that the working visit of the delegation will continue to open new opportunities for bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially education, science-technology, trade, tourism between the Capital and Australia's provinces and cities. He also would like that the Australian Government will create favorable conditions for Oversea Vietnamese who are working and living here.

The President of the Western Australia Senate Barry House said that the State Government in particular and Australia in general have always expected to build relations and multifaceted cooperation with Hanoi and Vietnam. On behalf of the State Government, he said that Australia and Western Australia welcome and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese to live, work and study here.
