Under the agreement, Vietnamese and South Korean TV program producers can register the co-production of TV shows to each other’s relevant agencies for approval within 50 days and in case of refusal, state the reasons in writing.

The broadcasting of co-produced programs must be in line with the regulations of each side. Each producer must contribute at least 10% of the fund to the program, which will be also carried out by Vietnamese and South Korean staff.

Earlier, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung received a delegation from the South Korean Communications Commission led by Hyo-seong Lee. The reception saw the attendance of many leaders from major South Korean and Vietnamese television stations.
