Vietnam’s largest online business forum to take place in Hanoi on February 24

The Vietnam Online Business Forum (VOBF) 2017 will be organised in Hanoi on February 24 and in HCM City on March 3, Chairman of the Vietnam E-Commerce Association (Vecom) Nguyen Thanh Hung unveiled at the press conference in Hanoi on February 16.

Vecom Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hung said that the VOBF 2017, the largest e-commerce forum, is expected to be held annually, gathering the e-commerce communities, both at home and abroad.
The forum will offer a platform for agencies, organisations, businesses and individuals to discuss new online business trends, outstanding technologies and innovative business initiatives, he added.
According to Hung, the event will introduce new market researches related to e-commerce in the world and in Vietnam, thus helping enterprises make relevant adjustments to their business strategies.
The forum will focus on four topics, including influences of cloud computing and mobile to e-commerce, multi-channel retailing or omni channel, cross-border e-commerce and start-ups in e-business, according to General Secretary of Vecom Tran Trong Tuyen.
Tuyen noted that at the event, Vietnam’s e-commerce index 2017 will be unveiled on the basis of a survey conducted among thousands of businesses across the country, thereby facilitating the quick evaluation of the e-commerce application level and serving the comparison of progress in e-commerce application between localities.
He noted that participants will have an opportunity to make exchanges with leaders of the companies providing outstanding technologies and services to online business, such as Z.com, Verisign, Bizweb, Gimasys, TrustPay, Interspace, Netnam, Vinalink and iNet.
The forum will attract the participation of large companies providing technologies and services such as Z.com, Bizweb, Netnam and Coc Coc and pioneering enterprises in omni channel and cross-border e-commerce such as Fado, Nguyen Kim and PTI as well as outstanding startups businesspersons nationwide.
