In Vietnam, two pilot properties for this campaign are Somerset Grand Hanoi and Somerset Chancellor Court.
Ascott will be launching the campaign across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Ascott is the first international hospitality company to roll out a regional collaboration with the e-commerce platform.

In Vietnam, shoppers can join the Ascott X Shopee Lucky Prize game to receive perks such as free stays, discount vouchers, and exclusive ASR membership tier upgrades.
“The collaboration between The Ascott Vietnam and Shopee marks the first time we approach the e-commerce market and shoppertainment to reach wider customer segments, and bring the Ascott experience to live to wherever our customers may be. This collaboration is a great campaign to boost our domestic revenue, besides current direct channels and conventional online travel booking sites.” said Ms. Lew Yen Ping, Regional General Manager of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
Meanwhile, Mr Ian Ho, Shopee’s Regional Managing Director shared: “With the ongoing travel restrictions, we trust that many consumers will appreciate having quick access to these attractive hospitality deals on Shopee.”
