The Vietnamese company's goal for the new office is to work closely with its other offices in India, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Colombia and other locations.

This strategic move responds to the increasing demand for Agile software engineering solutions in the Americas while enhancing the company’s services with better responsiveness and recruiting more local talents.

Establishing the new office marks a significant milestone for FPT Software in reinforcing its commitment to global expansion and client-centricity. This expansion also heralds the innovative "Best-Shore" Model, a blend of onshore, nearshore, and offshore service delivery. This approach places customers at the forefront, ensuring the optimal mix of proximity and cost-effectiveness.

Guadalajara, known as the "Silicon Valley of Latin America," has emerged as a prominent technology hub, attracting global companies seeking to capitalize on its skilled workforce and conducive business environment. Its similar time zone to many American cities makes Guadalajara an ideal location for establishing software development centres for the US market, providing seamless communication and support for clients across regions.

Nguyen Khai Hoan, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of FPT Software, expressed his excitement about the opportunities presented by this expansion.

“We have always envisioned ourselves as a global IT services company that stays close to customers. The Guadalajara office strengthens this vision and enables us to continue providing agile and responsive support to our ever-expanding customer base as we solidify our Americas market foothold,” he said.

Dang Tran Phuong, FPT Americas' Chief Executive Officer, highlighted Guadalajara's vibrant and innovative nature and its strategic location, enabling the company to efficiently serve clients in the Americas and tap into the local pool of tech talent. FPT Software is enthusiastic about contributing to the region's digital transformation and becoming an integral part of the dynamic tech ecosystem in Guadalajara.

By 2025, FPT Software plans to grow its team in Guadalajara to 500 people, collaborating closely with other offices in India, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Colombia, and so on to develop and deliver complete IT services and solutions to many clients.
