The fair had over 80 booths of businesses from two major cities of Hanoi and Haiphong and other provinces from northern to Tay Nguyen (central highland) regions, including Thai Nguyen, Ha Giang, Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong.
There is also an exhibition area for materials, flowers, and ornamental plants, with an area of over 500 square meters. The fair will run until April 17 in the pedestrian zone around the ancient citadel of Son Tay.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair on April 14, Nguyen Xuan Dai, Director of Hanoi's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said the fair has great significance and is an opportunity for stakeholders, businesses and households to strengthen trade relations, promote brands and trade, and find new customers and markets.

He emphasized that the connection between the parties will promote introducing products on e-commerce platforms and distribution systems such as trade centers, supermarkets, and showrooms that introduce and sell OCOP products.
The fair is also an opportunity for subjects, companies, and communities to exchange experiences on digital transformation and access to advanced technology and new technical advances, thereby contributing to increasing the added value of products and developing sustainable agricultural value chains.
He said that in recent years, companies across the country have actively participated in many trade promotion events to strengthen trade links and promote quality products associated with local brands, culture, and history.
