The festival includes exhibition and trade promotion activities featuring the participation of 185 units and 300 booths from Hanoi, other provinces and cities.

Besides, the event also hosts a culinary space with 12 booths from districts, communes, and villages of Hanoi introducing their specialties including Banh Cuon Thanh Tri (thin steamed rice flour pancakes from Thanh Tri district), Gio cha Uoc Le (Vietnamese sausages from Uoc Le commune), among others.

There are also some demonstrations of skillful artisans from famous craft villages in Hanoi making bamboo sticks, traditional hand-embroidery pictures, and palm-leaf conical hats, among others, which help visitors experience a product elaboration, stage by stage.

A representative from Hanoi People’s Committee said that with the orientation to 2020 and the following years, Hanoi will continue developing agriculture towards manufacturing, intensive farming, high-value products, and food hygiene and safety.

The event is expected to help promote and honor farm products and craft villages in Hanoi, thereby, encouraging producers to create products meeting the tastes of clients.

The festival lasts from December 14 to 17.
