IHG introduces upscale voco™ brand to Vietnam

IHG Hotels & Resorts will expand its upscale voco™ brand to Vietnam next year, which will mark the first opening under the voco brand in South East Asia.

The nearly completed voco Ma Belle Danang hotel features 290 guest-rooms, seamlessly combines the informality and charm of an individual property with the quality and reassurance of a globally renowned brand. It signals the latest development in the growth of voco, inspired by the Latin word for 'to invite' or 'come together'.

According to Mrs. Serena Lim, Vice President, Development for IHG, South East Asia & Korea, the hotel brand of “voco” has quickly expanded around the world. IHG Hotels & Resorts are now seeing greater interest in it across South East Asia. As a brand, “voco” presents an opportunity to access the upscale segment fast, backed by the power of the IHG enterprise and systems.

And, with Vietnam’s strong growth trajectory, she is confident that “voco” will continue to expand to other locations as a core upscale offer of IHG Hotels & Resorts.

voco Ma Belle Danang promises a memorable stay for guests, who can relax in a safe and peaceful environment. They will be inspired by a colourful decoration and modern design which features yellow for energy, teal for elegance and grey for balance.

“We built this hotel with a vision to give guests a fantastic lifestyle experience through which they can truly be themselves,” said Mrs. Nguyen Tuyet, Deputy General Director, Tuyet Lien Son Co Ltd, owner of voco Ma Belle Danang hotel.

Guests would have chance to enjoy the playful, personal touches running through the voco Ma Belle Danang’s design, and its range of indulgent amenities. The ‘Me Time’ concept of its rooms ensures they can look forward to a great night’s sleep thanks to premium beds, innovative lighting and user-friendly technology, while the superior showers offer a refreshing start to the day.

The characteristic concept of the "voco Life" brand is of great importance, and the hotel has one of the city's rooftop bars with a true 360-degree view of both the ocean and the city. The rooftop bar is designed to be lively, features a DJ booth and is next to the hotel's infinity pool. It is perfect for watching the sunset or the famous annual fireworks festival. When not seduced by the rooftop, guests can enjoy the all-day dining restaurant serving local food with a different twist.

Since its launch, voco™ has experienced incredible growth across the globe, with more than 35 properties either now open or in the pipeline, including hotels in Australia, the UK, Montenegro, UAE and China. Over the next few years, new hotels are set to open in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Egypt, Poland, Cyprus, South Africa and Thailand.
