Marriott International Hospitality to operate a five-star hotel in Quy Nhon

The Courtyard by Marriott Quy Nhon will be the first five-star hotel operated by the world renowned hospitality brand Marriott International in the central coastal region of Vietnam.

Among one of the first ever five-star hotels in Quy Nhon City, the 362-guest room-hotel of Courtyard by Marriott Quy Nhon is scheduled to open in early 2025.

According to Jakob Helgen, Area Vice President of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar, Marriott International, in light of the lack of international branded hotels in the emerging beach tourism city of Quy Nhon, Courtyard by Marriott marks a major milestone in the hospitality group’s expansion strategy in the country.

“We are pleased to work with AKYN Hospitality Group, an avant-garde, dynamic local hospitality group in Vietnam to open this new project,” he said.

Earlier, Marriott International has successfully cooperated with AKYN Hospitality Group to operate some hotel projects in central and southern regions of Vietnam, including the Westin Resort & Spa Cam Ranh in Khanh Hoa Province which will officially open in late 2022, a five-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and a resort in Phuoc Hai in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

Quy Nhon is the capital city of Binh Dinh province in the central coastal region of Vietnam, which is a highly sought-after tourist destination that attracts five million visitors in 2019. The city is expected to become an important business and leisure hub of the country in the years to come.

Located in the heart of Quy Nhon City, Courtyard by Marriott Quy Nhon Hotel is just a two-minute walk from the beach and five minutes from Binh Dinh Convention Centre. The project promises to bring a high-class hospital experience to locals and visitors to the city.
