Nearly 100 French antiques in the 19th century displayed

Ho Chi Minh Museum in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh Museum of Fine Arts organized an exhibition displaying 19th century French antiques.

At the exhibition, nearly 100 artifacts made of different materials outline  cultural exchanges  between Vietnam and France.
 

In particular, there are many unique artifacts such as foodware including 26 dishes of French noble class made of white ceramic with blue flower print under the same themes of landscapes and characters. 
A pair of Bettin vases is one of vase collection named Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. Antoine Francois Dalacour created the vases by molding in 1859 and then sculptor Leopold Joseph Gely used kaolin powder to cover the vase. These vases was brought to international exhibitions, then delivered for Napoleon III; 
The colored ceramic saucer  portray a notorious prosecutor during the French Revolution, Fouquier Tinville in 1793; statue of Napoleon Bonaparte by Jacques Louis David performed from 1800 to 1803.
France is a country of rich culture. France not only ranks the 3rd in terms of total area but also has strong influence on culture, economics, politics in Europe. Vietnam and France formally established diplomatic relations in 1973, which continues to be strengthened and developed in all fields.
