The grand finale of the Soul of Melody 2024 music competition, held on June 30th, marked the triumphant return of this popular platform for young musicians in the capital city. Organized by the Foreign Trade University Music Club (FTU Music Club) in collaboration with the Hanoi Youth Union and the Hanoi Student Association, the event was marked by a night filled with professional and electrifying performances by talented youngsters from various universities across Hanoi.

The competition featured four rounds over a rigorous three-month period, four distinct rounds with diverse formats, each designed to highlight the contestants' unique musical personalities and burning passion for music. On the final night, the most outstanding vocalists took to the stage, competing in both solo and group categories, creating an unforgettable spectacle of talent and artistry.

The event drew a large audience of enthusiastic students alongside renowned experts and artists from the music and art scene, underscoring its prestige and appeal. "I was truly captivated by the performances of these young talents," said  Tung Lam, a representative of one of the sponsors. "The professional quality of the competition far exceeded my expectations."

The contestants put in a lot of effort to shine.

Soul of Melody 2024 embraced the innovative concept of "Out of Sight" - listening with the heart. This unique approach encouraged the audience to experience music in its purest form, fostering a deeper connection between the performers and their listeners. The competition went beyond being a contest and became a platform for young people to pursue their passion, unleash their talents, and shine on their artistic journey.

The presence of dance adds an extra layer of artistry to their performance, further captivating the audience.

According to Trung Hieu, Vice President of the FTU Music Club, after this competition, the top contestants will continue to receive support to achieve their musical dreams through marketing campaigns and debuts. Additionally, they will get support to produce music videos and perform on more professional stages.

In the coming years, the organizers plan to not only continue the competition but also collaborate with major artists in the Vietnamese music industry to organize concerts.

A panel of esteemed judges, experts in the field of art, closely observes their performance, ready to evaluate their talent and provide constructive feedback.

The overwhelming success of the 2024 season positions Soul of Melody to continue its legacy as a prestigious and professional music platform. It promises to offer abundant opportunities for the next generation of music enthusiasts in Hanoi, nurturing their growth and development in the world of music.
