Since the start of this year, illegal Chinese immigrants have been found in 27 out of 63 cities and provinces in Vietnam.

Shortly before Vietnam detected locally infected coronavirus cases in Danang, police found dozens of illegal Chinese immigrants in the city.

This was not the first time that Vietnamese authority detained people hoarding face masks in large quantities for illegally export to China.
