Young pianist Vincent Vu to perform in Hanoi

The Vietnam National Academy of Music has unveiled that child piano prodigy Vincent Vu will take to the Grand Concert Hall stage October 1-2 performing Tchaikovsky`s Piano Concerto No 1 and Sibelius’s Symphony No 2.

Canadian-born of Vietnamese origin, Vu was discovered by world renowned pianist Dang ­Thai Son at the tender age of eight. Now at sixteen, he is currently studying at the University of Montreal in its Bachelor of Classical Instrument Interpretation Program.

His recital here in Hanoi promises to be amazing to say the least said organizers and an inspiration to all Vietnamese young talent, serving as a role model for youth with immense self-control, skill, and passion to succeed.
Vu has won innumerable prizes at international and national competitions such as the Canadian Music Competition, Hanoi International Competition, Crescendo International Music Competition and the Montreal Classical Music Festival.
