The exhibition takes place when Nikos’s ambassador tenure comes close to the end. So this’s also his lovely goodbye saying to Hanoi. Answering the question of what he would miss after leaving Hanoi, Ambassador Kanellos said: “There is nothing to miss because Hanoi is always in my heart”.
“Hanoi, a beautiful cultural center of Vietnam. The unique scents of the capital with the special lifestyle of simple people, an ancient green capital with warm hearts and true smiles. Hanoi became a part of my heart… A foreigner heart! A true Greek heart! I paint about Hanoi with color of Love and of Solidarity, for the symbol of Vietnam and for the People of Vietnam”, Kanellos said about Hanoi as his artistic inspiration.
