Due to consecutive storms in October, more than 300 people in Vietnam have lost their lives or gone missing.

From now until November 30, people who came to Vietnam under visa waiver programs, e-visas or tourism visas from March 1 can stay or leave Vietnam without doing any paperwork or paying any fees.

Floods have killed more than 130 people and directly affected over 1.3 million after weeks of unusually heavy rainfall hit central Vietnam since early October.

Since October 16, 2020, as consequences of tropical depressions, torrential downpour has returned and overlapping floods have resulted in heavy losses to human lives and production in the area.

As of October 15, the flooding had adversely affected over 136,000 households.
