Be active in foreign affairs and international integration

On the morning of October 27, the Foreign Ministry held Patriotic Emulation Congress 2011-2015. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended, made speech and steered the Congress.

There were Mr. Le Hong Anh, Permanent Secretary; leaders of departments, ministries and central agencies attending the meeting.

Final report on patriotic emulation movement and commend the period 2011-2015; orientations and tasks for the period 2016-2020 were presented at the conference, confirming emulation and commendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an important content of building work sector; are effective measures to enhance labor productivity; promoting healthy competition among units and individuals at home and abroad; contributing to successful implementation of the foreign policy of the Party and State, especially Resolution of the Eleventh National Party and socio-economic development plan in 5-year period of 2011-2015.

According to Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, deeper globalization and international integration, science and technology with rapid growth has a strong impact to the process of soico - economic development of the country. Market economy; advancement of social justice; democracy - the rule of law; cooperation and fighting for national interests, for peace - development and joining to solve global challenges is the common human tendency. World economy has been recovered slowly and still difficultly. Asia - Pacific region remains dynamic growth center of the world economy; Large countries to strengthen military power, gather forces, competition for influence in the region is increasingly fierce.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung stated that the international context and domestic requires us to consistently target the national interests, the nation's highest, unified, strong innovation, dynamic and creative, favorable advantage of opportunities, striving to overcome the limitations and weaknesses, overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully build and firmly protect the Vietnam Fatherland Socialist - independence, peace, national sovereignty, territorial integrity; democracy, freedom, rule of law, ensuring human rights and civil rights; prosperous people, a strong country and an equitable, civilized society; integration and development, progress with the times, rub shoulders with friends around the world - as desired by President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Platform, the Constitution of our country was devised.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung noted, each diplomatic staff must constantly train and strive really, indoctrinated patriotic emulation, diplomatic ideology of Ho Chi Minh, the Party line advocated policies to apply flexible and efficient in their work. In our country the process of international integration deeper, patriotic emulation movement in the diplomatic service to be very creative in order to "compete" with international friends, along with contributing countries are responsible to preserve peace, stability, increase cooperation and development in the region and internationally.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung was awarded Order of Ho Chi Minh to the National Boundary Commission - Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Labor Medal First Division for the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and second-class Labor Medal for Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Ho Xuan Son.
