The second DPRK-US summit is a wonderful opportunity for Hanoi and for the Vietnamese people. Nearly 3,000 media representatives have visited the capital city and experienced the smiling people, great food and scenery, and Vietnamese culture in recent days.Reporters covering the second DPRK-US summit have been provided free bus service between February 25 and March 2. The city tour double decker buses have adjusted its itineraries to make stop at the International Media Center for reporters' convenience during the summit.

"After more than one hour in the bus, I feel quite interested. Hanoi’s streets are more beautiful with overhead views and always on the move. However, when the bus went through trees, I feel a little scared that if I had any dried branches fallen to my head. The similar ones are streets with interconnected electric wire networks,” Cahya Sunandar, Iqbal Himawan’s colleague, told Hanoitimes.

North Korean Chairman Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump on February 26 arrived in Hanoi to attend the summit on February 27-28. The two leaders expected to discuss improving relations between Washington and Pyongyang, establishing long-term peace on the Korean peninsula, denuclearizing and repatriating remains of soldiers killed in the Korean war.
