Hanoi honors 150 enthusiastic and creative teachers

The 2022 Teachers' Tribute Ceremony held in Hanoi was seen as a token of appreciation from the education sector to teachers and demonstrated the sector's confidence in them.

The municipal Department of Education and Training organized the "Enthusiastic and Creative Teachers of Hanoi" award ceremony on November 10, honoring 150 excellent teachers and 20 students on the occasion of Vietnam Teacher's Day [November 20].

This annual activity honors Hanoian teachers who, enthusiastic and dedicated to their teaching profession, have made outstanding contributions to the emulation movement of "Innovation and Creativity in Teaching and Learning".

Besides, the award has encouraged teachers to be creative, creating positive school changes.

It also aims to encourage the development of gifted student talent, contributing to building a stronger education sector in the capital.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Tran Thi Thu Ha, chairwoman of the Trade Union under the municipal Department of Education and Training, highly valued the quality of this year's award.

"Many new ideas and solutions are practical. In addition to most of the innovative solutions in management and teaching methods, we appreciated many innovative ideas in classroom work, application of information technology, and student assessment measures, especially in cooperation between schools and families to build happy schools," Ha said.

"The award has recognized many teachers who, despite their age, are still full of energy and innovative in their work. They inspire creativity and enthusiasm in their colleagues and their beloved students. Many young teachers have been able to provide creative solutions, contributing to improving the quality of education in their schools," the president added.

Receiving the "Enthusiastic and Creative Teacher in 2022" award, teacher Bui Thi Ngoc Lan from Hoang Cau High School in Hanoi's Dong Da district said that the friendship of students in the "big Hoang Cau family" is her most worthy recognition.

Teacher Truong Thi Hien from Tan Dinh Primary School shared that the award is just the initial success. "I will continue to strive, together with my colleagues, to build a happy school," she said.

Vietnam Teachers' Day is an occasion to thank Vietnam's outstanding educators for their tireless efforts and teachers for all the valuable lessons.

The 2022 Teacher Tribute Ceremony held in Hanoi was a token of the education sector's gratitude towards teachers and demonstrated the industry's trust in them. Teachers are expected to continue to increase their responsibility in fulfilling their tasks while promoting their status, role, and image in society.
