Presenting flowers to Archbishop Joseph Vu Van Thien, Hoai conveyed her best wishes to him, the Archdiocese of Hanoi, priests, clergy and Catholic faithful for a Christmas filled with good health, comfort, peace, happiness, and love.

She expressed satisfaction that the Archdiocese of Hanoi and the Catholic believers have adhered to Party and State policies and participated in patriotic emulation movements organized by the city and local authorities.

Hoai said she was pleased that the archdiocese has been involved in many charitable and social activities, sharing and standing in solidarity with Party committees, authorities and fellow citizens.

These efforts have resulted in significant contributions to the development of Hanoi and the nation, she added.

The secretary believed that under the leadership of Archbishop Joseph Thien and other Catholic dignitaries, the archdiocese would continue to inspire Catholic adherents to further uphold the laws.

"I hope that the Archdiocese of Hanoi and its Catholic community will continue to stand by the city government in 2025 to fulfill important political, economic and social tasks in 2025, with the most critical being the implementation of the Capital Law, along with key strategic planning projects," she said, adding that these efforts of the Hanoi Catholic community would help build and develop Hanoi into a truly cultured, civilized and modern capital.

Archbishop Joseph Thien thanked Secretary Hoai for her Christmas greetings. He congratulated Hanoi for its significant development achievements in various fields and for moving forward with the nation into a new era - a transformative era for the Vietnamese people under the leadership of Party General Secretary To Lam.

The archbishop also expressed his sincere gratitude to the authorities of Hanoi for their continued support and favorable conditions for the activities of the Archdiocese of Hanoi over the years.
