Hanoi quarantines 14 people suspect of nCoV infection

Hanoi has not recorded any individual infected with the deadly virus as of February 3.

As many as 29 people have been quarantined in Hanoi for being suspecting of carrying the Wuhan coronavirus (nCoV) so far, of them 15 have tested negative with the virus and 14 others remain in quarantine as of February 3, according the municipal Department of Health.

Another 40 individuals are under close health monitoring for having contacted with the people suspected of nCoV infection.

The city has not recorded any individual infected with the deadly virus as of February 3, the department informed.

The city’s health authority has earmarked five hospitals dedicated to treat people suspected or confirmed of nCoV infection. Children will be treated at Duc Giang hospital while adult patients can be admitted to Ha Dong, Duc Giang, Dong Da, Bac Thang Long and Thanh Nhan hospitals.

The municipal Health Department has opened three hotlines to receive calls on the nCoV, which are 0969082115, 0949396115 and 0916865570 as well as email gsdich2020@gmail.com.

Vietnam has so far confirmed eight individuals infected with the nCoV, of them three have tested negative with the virus.

The Ministry of Health has announced two hotlines (1900 9095 and 1900 3228) free of charge and hotlines of 21 hospitals across the country that are capable of receiving nCoV patients.
