Hanoi streets turn red to mark national holidays

Hanoi’s streets, small alleys, and public places are tinted red with national flags, banners and posters to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the National Reunification day, May Day and the 66th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

From April 22 to May 10, Hanoi will be sparkling with billboards, banners and flags to communicate the value, historical significance and great spirit of the past national struggle for unification and independence.
