The Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC) has to test nearly 6,000 samples, even up to 10,000 every day, making it a heavy workload for health workers.
More than 10,000 returnees from Danang from May 1 to 14 took rapid testing for Covid-19, of them 9,158 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 as of May 16 while the results of the remaining samples are pending.

The workload is divided into two shifts. Specifically, the first shift is worked from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and the second one from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am the next morning. |
After receiving samples from districts, medical staff will have to carefully check and screen before testing. |
At the laboratory, the light is always on all day, the medical staff work overnight and hope that all the samples tested negative. |
They have got eye strain but could not allow themselves to take a nap. |
Although the work is very hard, under high pressure, health workers always encourage each other to make effort. |

It takes at least four hours to test a sample. If it is positive, it will take another four hours to retest so as to have the most accurate result. |
Working in a risky environment and anyone can be infected if they do not follow the Covid-19 prevention regulations properly. |
