The map will update news on isolated zones, quarantine facilities, hospitals, and lists of patients and their travel history. This is the first map of its kind launched in Vietnam.

On the day, Associate Prof. Tran Dac Phu warned Vietnam of surging infections at industrial parks if no tougher measures are taken.

The number of people under quarantine reached 83,415, including 1,433 at hospitals, 34,252 at state-run quarantine centers, and the remaining at home and lodging facilities.
