On November 14-16, a group of 71 contestants will visit landscapes, and cultural and historical sites in Hanoi, including Hoan Kiem Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Bat Trang traditional pottery village. They will also have the chance to enjoy the city’s cuisine and the art of Xam folk singing.

From November 16 to 26, the contestants will visit cultural heritages and tourist destinations in the northern provinces of Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Son La, and Vinh Phuc, including Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Special National Historical Relic of Hung Kings Temple, Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site and others.

Arriving in Hanoi after a 14-hour flight, Miss Tourism World Organization founder John Singh was first impressed by the fact that Hanoi is a modern city but retains its rich identity.

“I feel the warmth and culture of the Vietnamese people when receiving friendly smiles of girls wearing Ao dai (Vietnam's traditional long dress) with conical hats and lotus flowers,” he said.

This is the first time John Singh has come to Vietnam. He said he couldn't wait to visit the places the contest will go through.

Vietnam is wonderful, however, the country remains unknown to many Western tourists. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for the host country to draw more international tourists, he said.

According to the founder, it's time for the tourism industry to recover. The contest will help support Vietnam on the issue.

From November 27 to December 5, the final round of Miss Tourism World 2022, themed “Bringing the world to Vietnam”, will be held in Vietnam. The award ceremony will take place on December 3 in Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province.
