New link to bring Vietnamese products to international markets

Businesses wanting to promote Vietnamese exports requires active association in the process of production and consumption of products, taking advantage of the international retail network. That is confirmed by Nguyen Gia Phuong, Director of Hanoi Investment Promotion Centre (HPA).

Information from the HPA show that, although the first time HPA organized "Week of Vietnam" at the Tokyo Gift Fair Show (September, 2016) but Hanoi's products with various designs, lower price that domestic customers have been well received in Japan.

Not only introducing Vietnamese goods in the Asian market, in 2016, the 2nd Fair held every week in Moscow over 95 businesses that support the promotion and consumption of 30 tons of porcelain and handicrafts, 22 tons of agricultural products, processed foods, apparel, footwear, etc. while seeking partners for product consumption. Although this is the first time Dong Nai enterprises to attend this week but has signed many export contracts of goods to the Russian market.

Although the HPA, trade and industry has organized many trade promotion programs which support enterprises to boost exports but for many Vietnamese export companies bringing goods into the demanding markets such as Japan, the EU, Russia, etc. are not simple.

The fact that for the commodities Vietnam has experienced exports, domestic resources and strong enterprises with a clear development strategy can take advantage of the international retail channels, thereby boosting exports. The last time Big C supermarket chain through its distribution network around the world has exported 1,000 containers of Vietnam's goods/year with the following items: Textile, agricultural products, aquatic products, arts and crafts, wood, etc. into the European market, America is the clearest evidence linking international retail channel for Vietnamese exporters.
