The CPV’s Central Committee elected at the 13th National Party Congress has 200 members, including 180 full members and 20 alternate ones, according to the decision made on the 3rd day [January 28] of the week-long political event.

On the 4th day of the congress, the working sessions continue with personnel issues.

Under the Politburo’s rule, officials managed by the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat need to meet qualifications typically in terms of political will, virtue, and competence.

As of the 3rd working day, there were 36 speeches delivered at the hall and nearly 800 speeches made at the delegations discussing documents for the 13th Congress.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan said the CPV’s foreign affairs in the coming time would be “reinforcing bilateral relations and improving multilateral ties”. It means that Vietnam will make bilateral relations more substantive.

Regarding letters of congratulations, as many as 298 parties, organizations, and friends sent congratulatory messages to the CPV on this occasion, according to Nguyen Hong Dien, deputy head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party’s Committee Vuong Dinh Hue representing the Presidium at the 13th Congress thanked the senders for their messages.
