Ten hot-air balloons on display at the festival are from local and foreign teams. The balloons fly over Moc Chau district Administrative Center’s square between 6:30 am and 8:30 am on February 14 to 15, an activity which is expected to attract a large number of local people and visitors.
The festival aims to introduce and promote a new and modern tourism product, thus thus luring more visitors to the National Moc Chau Tourism Area.
Colorful balloons flying in the sky of Moc Chau plateau created an eye-catching scenery. It was hoped to bring interesting experiences for visitors to the event, which was organized on the Valentine's Day.
The festival conveys the message of love and happiness. A hot air balloon display and music performance program with the participation of balloon experts from Japan, Thailand and Vietnam will be arranged in the same day’s evening. The festival will close on February 16.
In 2016, the first International Air Balloon Festival was held from September 1 to 3 in Moc Chau town with the participation of hot-air balloon pilots coming from Taiwan (China), Thailand, the Netherlands, India and Vietnam. A group of 15 trainers were available to serve passengers, who want to experience balloon demonstration. Music performances also held during the event on September 2 - 3.
