The five-day festival will be a part of the city’s celebrations for the 31st SEA Games.
In the days leading up to SEA Games 31, athletes from the Vietnam swimming and diving teams are training hard in preparation for the biggest sporting event in the region.
Vietnam is believed to retain its regional football title while Indonesia appears to be a strong candidate.
The festival aims at fostering the connection among young people from Southeast Asian countries.
The capital city has basically completed the upgrading of all infrastructure works serving SEA Games 31.
Athletes will compete in 40 sports in Hanoi and 11 nearby cities and provinces from May 6 to May 22.
