The 2014 Spring Book Fair opened at the Hanoi Library on February 14, attracting thousands of people, mostly young readers.
The three-day fair offers10-60% discounts on various types of books, spanning fiction, sciences, and humanities.
Visitors have a chance to receive coupons for free-of-charge books worth over VND200,000 in total.
Hoang Thu Trang, a student from Hanoi University said she was intensely interested in the fair where she can see many new publications and buy low-cost books.
According to Huy Hoang, a university lecturer, the fair is expected to promote the culture of reading and encourage young readers to enrich their knowledge.
