In the next 72 to 96 hours, the storm will go deep inland and weaken rapidly into a tropical depression, then a low pressure area.

On the mainland, due to the influence of low pressure in combination with the convergence of wind from 1500m to 5000m, tonight, in the northern region of Vietnam, provinces of Son La, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, there will appear moderate rainfall and heavy rain with 30-70mm/24h, even over 100mm/24h and will last until August 23.
