The second exhibition, to be held after more than two years of delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will display a number of advanced aviation equipment, technologies, and modern aircraft from many countries with the theme “Sustainable development for a bright future”.

The event aims to promote trade and technical services between the aviation industry of Vietnam and other countries in the coming time.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Luong Thi Xuan, Director of Vietnam International Aviation Expo JSC, said the event will draw the participation of aviation scientists, experts, CEOs, and manufacturers domestically and globally.

She added that delegates attending seminars will discuss the aviation market outlook post- Covid, best practices for encouraging air travel, airport operations, needs for the next generation of aircraft, aerospace job demand for the next 20 years, and other topics.

Nguyen Huu Nam, Deputy Director of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ho Chi Minh City branch, said the global aviation industry is optimistic about the future prospects with a forecast growth of 47% in 2022 as Covid-19 restrictions are gradually eased or removed.

In the context of the recovery and development of the aviation industry, VIAE 2022 will be a place for participants to update information on the industry and assess its prospects and resilience.

In addition, the event will also be a bridge to promote investment and business cooperation between aviation industry partners of Vietnam and other countries.

The first aviation expo was held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2019, with the participation of 50 domestic and foreign enterprises.
