Themed “Freedom”, the festival this year is encouraging participants to submit creative, modern and inspiring photography artworks with an insight into the modernity and dynamism of life.

The works submitted to the contest must be composed in 2020 and 2021 and should reflect people, society, landscapes and the process of building and protecting the country.

Photographers can submit their works in two categories of Realistic Photo and Conceptual Photo. Each photographer can send up to eight photos. Entries should be submitted in a JPG digital format, at a resolution of at least 300dpi, and size of no more than 4Mb.

Photographers can send entries directly to http://www.festivalnhiepanhtre2021.com, until July 15, 2021.

Organizers will select about 170 winning images to display at an exhibition that will be organised in October, 2021 to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Hanoi’s liberation from the French army on October 10, 1954.

This is the 4th Young Photography Festival, which is organised every two years by Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
