Unforgettable moments from the “Walking for People and Planet” event

The even is a powerful message to the community about the responsibility to protect the environment and demonstrates the deep connection between humans and nature.

Over 1,100 people participated in the "Walking for People and Planet" event, organized by ActionAid on March 26 at Vietnam National University of Forestry.

The event featured a 3km walk around the campus and aimed to promote climate education, civic engagement, and international collaboration. A trilateral agreement was signed during the event to empower youth in climate justice and sustainability efforts, marking Vietnam's leadership in climate adaptation.

Organisers said that “Walking for People and Planet” is an example of practical cooperation between educational institutions, social organizations and international partners. The event showed how cross-sector efforts can support sustainable development through youth engagement and concrete action.
