Hanoi holds various art programs to welcome 13th National Party Congress

These events are aiming at creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people, in celebration of the major political event of the country.

According to the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi, in order to welcome the 13th National Party Congress, Hanoi will host many art programs.

A total of 27 art performances will be held in big stages in Hanoi’s downtown and in some suburban districts of Hanoi.

Specifically, there will be four outdoor performances  in front of Thang Long Puppet Theater (No 57 Dinh Tien Hoang street); two performances at Flower Garden in Ly Thai To Monument (Le Lai street), one art show in front of the monument “Determined to Brave Death for the Survival of the Fatherland” (Hang Dau street); two arts performances will also take place in the center of Tay Ho district and two others will be held in the center of Cau Giay district.

In Hanoi’s suburbs, the art performances will be held in Son Tay town and the districts of Ung Hoa, Thanh Oai and Dong Anh, among other places.

Notably, in two days from February 2 to 3, there will two major artistic events be organized at the Flower Garden in Ly Thai To Monument and in the square at My Dinh National Stadium.

These arts performances will be staged by Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, Thang Long Puppet Theater, Hanoi Cai Luong Theater, Hanoi Cheo Theater, Hanoi Circus Theater as well as professional and amateur art troupes.

The art performances will focus on praising the country, the glorious Party, the great Uncle Ho and the thousand-year-civilization Hanoi capital, among others. All have been prepared elaborately and professionally to celebrate the nation’s political event.

On this occasion, Hanoi city also organizes many exhibitions, adorns the central area and major streets with flowers, ornamental plants and lights to promote the 13th National Party Congress.
