The exhibition aims to promote trade cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises.

In addition to booths showcasing products and facilitating business connections, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will organize seminars on digital transformation solutions, smart manufacturing plant construction, improving the capabilities of large enterprises, global economic fluctuations and the outlook for the manufacturing sector from the perspective of Japanese-Vietnamese enterprises, logistics personnel and supply chain management for Hanoi's major industries, and connecting manufacturing enterprises with industrial cluster investors.

According to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the previous edition of the Hanoi Key Industrial Products Exhibition in 2022 attracted 5,000 visitors and an estimated trade value of US$5 million.

In recent years, Hanoi has focused on developing major industrial products in line with the effective implementation of planning, guidance, and restructuring goals for the capital's industrial sector, aiming for rapid and sustainable growth.

After five years of program implementation (2018-2022), the Hanoi People's Committee has recognized a total of 196 products that have achieved the title of major industrial products.

The current major products, which represent Hanoi's strengths, include lighting fixtures, transformers, software, plastic products, stainless steel, garments, water valves, and exported bamboo and rattan products, with notable enterprises such as Son Ha Group, Sunhouse Group, AMACCAO Group, and Garco 10.

To support the development of the city's key industrial products in the future, among the measures to develop key industrial products and strive for a global production chain, Hanoi identifies the expansion of trade promotion activities and training as two key solutions.
