The fair will attract from 150 to 170 enterprises with around 250 to 300 booths displaying Vietnamese goods.
According to the Organizing Board, participants in the fair are enterprises, production and business establishments in Hanoi and various provinces across the country.
The fair will introduce high-quality Vietnamese products, such as furniture, handicrafts, textiles, agricultural products, household products, consumer goods and handicraft products.
Due to the important role of the fair, the Department of Industry and Trade asked agencies and relevant units to well prepare for the fair so as to create good impression for enterprises and visitors; strengthen the popularization of the fair synchronously with a focus on carrying out the campaigns “Vietnamese people give priority to Vietnamese products”, “Protecting consumers’ rights” so as to draw the participation of domestic and foreign enterprises. Especially, goods displaying at the fair are produced by domestic enterprises, production and distribution facilities.
The Department of Industry and Trade also noted that state management agencies should promote the orientation role and assistance so as to create favorable conditions to supervise enterprises’ business activities at the fair and strictly handle violation cases as stipulated by law.
The businesses will introduce high-quality Vietnamese products, such as furniture, handicrafts, textiles, agricultural products, household products, consumer goods and handicraft products.
In additional, Hanoi’s districts will also participate in the fair introducing their characteristic products.
Under the framework of the fair, a conference on connecting the supply and demand trade connections between enterprises, provinces and cities nationwide will be organised to support enterprises and production establishments in Hanoi and other provinces and cities to introduce their products and place them into the modern retail system, giving advice on design, packaging and brand name.
The fair, considered as a good occasion for people in Hanoi to buy high-quality goods, will conclude on September 25.
