Heritage journey photo contest 2024 kicks off

Professional and non-professional photographers are invited to participate in the Heritage Photography Contest - Journey of Heritages 2024.

The annual professional photo contest organized by Heritage - the in-flight magazine of Vietnam Airlines - is now in its 10th year. The event aims to showcase the beauty of Vietnam's land and people to the world, especially its World Heritage elements.

According to the event organizer, the competition is open from April 1 to July 31 to professional and non-professional photographers, Vietnamese citizens or foreigners living in Vietnam aged 18 years or older.

Photographers will compete in the categories of Culture and Heritage, Landscapes and Tourist Attractions (in Vietnam and around the world), Lifestyle, Portraits and Vietnam Airlines Moments; and photos taken with special techniques: drone, macro, underwater.

Each contest entry must be a photo storyboard. Each photo and the entire set must be captioned. Each set of photos may be in color or black and white, consist of 8 to 12 photos, and include at least one vertical photo.

Entries must not have been previously published in the media or entered in any other photo contest and must have been taken within the last three years.

Entries should be uploaded to the website https://giaianh.heritagevietnamairlines.com/.

The organizers will award a total of 12 prizes for all four categories. The prizes include 32 air tickets to be used on the international and domestic network of Vietnam Airlines.

In addition, VAPA will present a set of three medals to the winning photographers. The award ceremony will be held in September this year with an exhibition of the winning photos.
