Photo exhibition showcases Vietnamese heritage to the delight of Hanoians

As many as 200 outstanding photos selected from the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2023 are displayed in Hanoi.

The week-long exhibition of the winning photos of the Journey of Heritage began on September 22 at the Hanoi Exhibition House, 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoan Kiem District.

 The winning photo entitled "Khu Gia Gia Festival of Ha Nhi Minority" by Nguyen Vu Hau 

The Heritage Special Award goes to photographer Ngo Quang Phuc for the photo collection "The Ndam Padhi Bani Festival in Ninh Thuan". The first prize was awarded to photographer Bang Cao for his photo collection "The Lifetime Treasure: Wild Beeswax".

Five joint prizes were awarded to the works entitled "Whales Seeking Journey in the East African Sea" by Nguyen Ngoc Thien; "Seaweed Harvesting in Quang Ngai" by Alex Cao; "Pottery Trade of Binh Thuan" by Nguyen Quoc Huy; "Khu Gia Gia Festival of Ha Nhi Minority" by Nguyen Vu Hau; "Wharf in Life of Central Highlands Peoples" by Duong Manh Khiem.

The aforementioned works are selected from hundreds of photos at the 9th Journey of Heritage organized by Heritage Magazine, launched in April, highlighting the importance of preserving cultural heritage and natural values.

"Journey of Heritage" is an annual professional photography contest for Vietnamese and international photographers organized by Heritage, the in-flight magazine of Vietnam Airlines, since 2013. Now in its 9th year, the event aims to promote Vietnam's culture, beautiful landscapes, and friendly people.
