Long Bien District Culture - Trade - Craft Village Week 2023 kicks off

The aim of the event is to create trade links and boost consumption.

The opening ceremony of the Long Bien District Culture - Trade - Craft Village Week 2023 was the kick-off for a series of cultural, sports and commercial activities.

 The opening ceremony of the Long Bien District Culture - Trade - Craft Village Week 2023 launches in Long Bien District.

The Long Bien District 2023 Culture - Commerce - Craft Villages Week will run until May 21, gathering 100 stalls to display handicrafts, ornamental creatures, and introduce products of the Le Mat Snake Village, and activities to promote traditional culture with national intangible cultural heritages such as Giao Long dance from May 10-15. 

There will also be cultural and sports activities such as airball and badminton competitions and an amateur dance festival in Long Bien District.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event on May 10, Deputy Chairman of Long Bien District People's Committee Vu Xuan Truong said that the launch of the Culture - Trade - Handicraft Village Week is expected to create cultural, sports, entertainment and shopping activities for people during the Le Mat Festival and attract domestic and foreign tourists to the traditional Le Mat snake farming village, thereby promoting craft village tourism.

 

The event will also connect trade and boost consumption among businesses across the country.
