The program is designed to enhance the cross-border e-commerce capabilities of leading export-oriented industries in partnership with key industry associations.
The "Connecting Industries – Growing Together with Cross-Border E-Commerce" initiative was officially announced to help Vietnamese businesses increase their presence and chances of success in bringing "Made-in-Vietnam" brands and products to the global market.

This initiative is part of the second phase of the "Cross-border E-commerce: The Breakthrough Era" program, jointly run by the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (iDEA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Amazon Global Selling.
Accordingly, this program will enhance the cross-border e-commerce capabilities of leading export-oriented industries by working with key industry associations to raise awareness, provide additional educational resources, and assist association members in developing and succeeding in global e-commerce.
At the event, Gijae Seong, CEO of Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, said the group is working to introduce Made-in-Vietnam products to the international market and promote cross-border e-commerce as Vietnam's export potential is immense.
With a plan to cooperate with government agencies, Amazon Global Selling is shaping the vision and roadmap to help Vietnamese businesses develop the potential of e-commerce exports.
This plan focuses on four key areas, including strengthening education programs and digital skills development to build the workforce and leadership for the cross-border e-commerce industry and promoting the network of international e-commerce service providers.
The group will network distributors and brands with manufacturers across the country to diversify the choice for new products from Vietnam, encouraging enterprises to build and develop brands and contribute to increasing the value of Vietnamese goods in the global market.
In 2022, the iDEA and Amazon Global Selling Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to train human resources in cross-border e-commerce for 10,000 Vietnamese enterprises by 2026.
