The exhibition features over 500 products and their counterfeit versions in various fields.
The "Recognition of Protected Trademarks" exhibition is open to visitors free of charge until October 17 at 62 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi, to help consumers understand basic information about trademarked products and the benefits of trademark protection under Vietnamese law.

Trademark protection helps combat counterfeit, imitation, and low-quality goods and alleviate consumers' concerns when shopping, said Tran Huu Linh, Director General of the Vietnam Directorate of Market Surveillance under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, at the opening ceremony of the "Protected Trademark Recognition" exhibition on October 11.
He added that Vietnam has experienced cases where reputable trademarks have been infringed by copying and imitating designs, causing confusion, misleading consumers, and damaging enterprises' economy and brand value.
Therefore, he stressed that trademark protection is regarded as an effective measure to safeguard the intellectual property rights of trademark owners and create a level playing field among manufacturers.
The exhibition showcases over 500 products in various fields, such as cosmetics, functional food, fashion, footwear, jewelry, auto parts, motorcycles, consumer goods, dairy products and agricultural products.
These products are manufactured by well-known brands registered in the Vietnamese market, such as Honda, Yamaha, Piaggio, Hyundai, Abbott, Unilever, Johnson's Baby, Top to Toe, Sunsilk, Clear, Pantene, and others.
With this exhibition, the Vietnam Directorate of Market Surveillance aims to create a reliable platform for visitors to proactively access information, differentiate, and recognize products, enhancing their skills and knowledge in product selection and protecting their and their families' health.
