The top ten list includes Samsung Electronics Thai Nguyen, Vietnam Electricity (EVN), Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group, Vingroup, Agribank, and Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), among others.
Vu Dang Vinh, General Director of Vietnam Report, said 2021 was a special year, which opened the country's five-year socio-economic development plan and also saw the country facing unprecedented challenges.
He added, however, such challenges were also a test, an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to prove their resilience with management skills, creativity and adaptability.
This year also marked the 15th anniversary of the prestigious ranking VNR500 Brand - the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam, which is built on the results of independent research and evaluation, according to Vietnam Report.
Within the framework of the event, the bilingual report Vietnam Economic White Paper 2022 with the theme “Economic growth scenarios and adaptation strategies in the next normal period” was also released.
The report summarizes the achievements in 2021, gathering opinions from experts and business representatives on economic policy, lessons learned to live safely with the pandemic, as well as forecast about Vietnam's economic growth scenario in the coming time.
As digital transformation is gaining more attention, the report also showed the trend of applying technology in some key industries and the direction of digital transformation in Vietnam in the coming time.
