Week of Vietnam - Hanoi Products 2018 to be held in AEON

The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently released Plan No.105/KH-UBND on organizing Week of Vietnam - Hanoi Products 2018 in AEON supermarket in association with introducing culture and tourism in Japan.

The Week of Vietnam - Hanoi Products 2018 aims to introduce products and brands, as well as tourism, culture and cuisine of Vietnam to the Japanese people; enhance the links and trade exchange with Japanese importers in order to bring Vietnamese goods directly to Aeon distribution system in Japan and other countries as well.

Moreover, the Week of Vietnam - Hanoi Products 2018 contributes to increasing export turnover of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular; helping enterprises in accessing Japanese consumers and understanding consumption trend, thus having direction for production and strategy to enter the market and export to Japan.
The program will take place from June 4 to June 13 in 40 places in Aeon distribution system in Saitama, Kanto and Osaka of Japan. The main venue is in Aeon Lake Town commercial center in Saitama, which covers an area of around 500 square meters. Other 39 venues are retail shops in some provinces in the south and the north of Kanto area.
Following activities will be organized in framework of the Week of Vietnam - Hanoi Products 2018 program:
Trade exchange between Vietnamese enterprises and focal point enterprises of Aeon on June 6; introducing products and capacities of Vietnamese enterprises at the headquarter of Aeon; introducing regulations and standards of imported goods as well as consumption trend of Japanese market; introducing standard for products to be imported into distribution system of Aeon; direct exchange, negotiation and agreement between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises;
Conducting site inspection in food processing factory and high-tech agriculture farm on June 7 in Kikoman Corporation, the leading sauce production factory of Japan; site inspection in high-tech agriculture farm of Aeon to learn about high-tech production model and closed process in Japanese company (including cultivation, food processing, and distribution of products to distribution channels with guaranteed control over origin and input quality during the manufacturing process and guaranteed the best quality outputs).
The program will be launched on June 9 at the main venue of Aeon Lake Town. Products will be introduced and sold from June 7 to 10. 
Furthermore, there will be performances and activities to promote tourism, culture and art from June 7 to 10, such as performances of water puppet shows, traditional music instruments of Vietnam, exchange of Vietnamese and Japanese traditional folk dances, traditional dance of Japan, and introduction of tourist destinations as well as work heritage sites in Vietnam.
