The National Power Transmission Corporation has mobilised 70.65 trillion VND (3.36 billion USD), including 1.3 billion USD of official development assistance (ODA), in the past five years for its power projects.
Currently, the firm is reinforcing cooperation with traditional partners, including the World Bank, the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Asian Development Bank, to attract more investment.
Apart from ODA provided by major sponsors, the firm is also seeking investment from other international financial institutions in the form of export credits.
At the same time, the corporation is expanding bilateral collaboration and partnership with ASEAN members and regional countries in the field.
The firm announced that its target in the next five years is to build a reasonable power transmission price to ensure capital for its production while maintaining financial independence and mobilising adequate investment for the development of the national power transmission system.
