18 countries participate in the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh 2017

International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh 2017 (ITE HCMC) is an annual event.

This is the largest and most established travel event in the region, a place where Vietnamese tourism is promoted to international friends, in turn strengthening the “non-smoke” industry cooperation between regional countries and all over the world.

Following the success of 12 previous events, the Ministry of Culture, Sport & Tourism along with Ho Chi Minh People’s Committee jointly hold the ITE HCMC 2017 with the theme “Your gateway to tourism in Asia”. With 300 booths, the ITE HCMC 2017 will be from September 7-9 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).

Director of Ho Chi Minh Tourism Department Bui Ta Hoang Vu said :”With desire to push forward with the Vietnamese tourism promotion in general and of Ho Chi Minh in particular, the organization board of ITE HCMC 2017 has focused on improving quality and creating new attractive activities such as working programs exclusively for tourism operators local and abroad; the survey program on tourism destination; international workshop. As such, these efforts are seen as contribution for Vietnam tourism to be the spearhead industry sector of the economy”.

ITE HCMC 2017 has attracted hundreds of international tourism operators coming from 18 countries and regions, which are looking for opportunities for cooperation in Vietnam market, such as: Tour Diamond (Myanmar); Prince Hotel, Kansai Airport (Japan); Traveltek (Australia); Plumeria resort (Madives); Aeroflot (Russia); World Sentosa resort (Singapore), etc.

CEO of Informa Exhibition company – Mr. Jack Wei added: “ITE HCMC 2017 not only cements the important roles of introducing the tourism image of Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh city in particular, but also proves the united strength of the global community”.

In addition to promotion agencies and international tourism operators, ITE HCMC 2017 has attracted hundreds of leading promotion agencies, tourism operators, hotels, resorts from Ho Chi Minh city and 30 provinces/cities across the country.
