This forms part of an ongoing effort to preserve the city’s heritage under the Law on Cultural Heritage.
According to the restoration schedule, Quan De Temple at 28 Hang Buom Street will be closed to visitors until February 1, 2026.
Meanwhile, the Hanoi Old Quarter's Center for Cultural Exchange at 50 Dao Duy Tu Street and the Heritage House at 87 Ma May Street are scheduled to reopen on November 21, 2025, and April 26 next year, respectively.
The Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi's Old Quarter said that the restoration aims to prevent deterioration and enhance the visitor experience.

Quan De Temple is a spiritual and cultural landmark for the local Chinese-Vietnamese community in Hanoi and attracts many visitors, particularly during traditional festivals.
Meanwhile, the Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center serves as a hub for exhibitions, cultural activities, and educational programs that focus on the heritage and everyday life of the Old Quarter, drawing both residents and international tourists.
The Heritage House at 87 Ma May is one of the finest surviving examples of traditional Hanoian architecture from the late 19th century, offering a unique glimpse into the domestic spaces and lifestyle of Hanoi’s past.
While these sites are being restored, visitors are encouraged to explore other notable sites in the Old Quarter, such as Bach Ma Temple and Kim Ngan Communal House, which offer meaningful insights into Hanoi’s rich cultural and historical landscape.
The Management Board will announce the official reopening of the restored relics through local media and tourism information channels.
