The last massive Xoe dance in 2013 in this province was also registered as a record with the participation of 2,013 people.

As a traditional dance of the Thai ethnic minority, mua xoe involves people holding hands and performing six traditional acts, including welcoming, clapping hands, waving scarves, and offering wine.

The director of the opening ceremony,  Le Hai Yen, said that the registration process for the Guinness World Record is running smoothly but the interpretation must respond to the strict conditions of the organization to be recognized.
