Bui Thanh Mai, a Vietnamese six-year-old, has won the gold prize, in the 7 and under aged category, at the eighth Toyota Dream Car Art Contest for her artwork piece entitled "Super Crab Car".
The awards ceremony was held at Mega Web-Toyota's vehicle experience facility in Koto Ward, Tokyo.
Mai, Jirawat Yodsing (age 10) of Thailand and Iasmina-Maria Raceanu (age 15) of Romania also won gold medals at the competition in the aged categories 8 to 11 and 12-15, respectively.
Mealaksey Pha (age 5) of Cambodia won the special President Toyoda Award for "Smart Fish Car".
This year’s event attracted a total of 662,898 art works from 75 countries.
Conducted as part of Toyota's social contribution activities, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is open to children up to15 years old at the time of submission.
The contest, first implemented in 2004, aims to provide the opportunity for children throughout the world to show off their dreams and creative abilities.
