Customs officials at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City have seized more than 90kg of ivory with a total value estimated at VND4 billion.

Thirty-nine ivory tusks and 100 handicraft products made of ivory were found hidden in luggage, disguised as foodstuffs.
The shipment of ivory was said to have originated in Africa and transported through a number of countries before being discovered by customs officials.
The sender was identified as L.J.J company, and the consignee listed as T.L.O company.
The case is still under investigation.
