Furusawa Yasuyuki, General Director of AEON Vietnam, announced at a press conference to mark the opening of AEON's ninth department store in Vietnam.

With a total area of over 15,000 square meters on three floors, AEON Xuan Thuy is designed to provide a rich and diverse experience for various customer groups in the area, including local residents, office workers, and students. "It will offer a unique culinary world with renowned brands and diverse dining options," Furusawa said.

This mall is part of AEON's strategy to increase its presence and engagement with Vietnamese consumers. "We will continue to expand and innovate our retail models to meet the needs of local communities while adapting to the specific conditions of each region. This includes the introduction of large-scale shopping malls among other retail formats," Furusawa emphasized.

He said AEON has adjusted its business strategy to provide high-quality products and services at reasonable prices to suit the evolving demands of Vietnamese consumers.

"Vietnam remains the second most important market for AEON after Japan in our medium- and long-term strategic plans," Furusawa said.
